1) How do I register?

Register by clicking on the “Register Here” button in the to the left.  This will take you to our registration pages where you can enter your details, select concurrent sessions, add tickets for the IDEAwards, and pay for your registration.

You can book for multiple people in one transaction.  If you have a discount code, it is entered on the payment page at the end.

2) How much does it cost?

Registration fees are in the brochure, which you can download using the button to the left.

3) How do I get to Darling Harbour?

Darling Harbour is easily accessible by public transport.  The Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre has information about getting there and parking.

4) Do you have accommodation packages?

We do! Accommodation can be booked through the Lido Group.

5) I have a special diet – can you cater for me?

We will do our best to cater for any special diet needs, though we may not be able to accommodate every requirement.  Please tell us about your requirements on the registration form.  We will contact you if we have questions.

6) What services will be available for people with dementia attending Risky Business?

We are aware that conferences are busy places.  There will be a designated relaxation room available for people with dementia and their carers, with drinks and snacks.  You are welcome to use the space as needed to pace the conference to suit your needs.

7) How do I get tickets for the International Dementia Excellence Awards?

Delegates can purchase tickets for the IDEAwards for themselves and for guests during the registration process.

If you are not attending the conference, tickets will be available in late May.

8 ) How do I ensure I get my CNE points?

This conference has been endorsed by the Royal College of Nursing, Australia (according to approved criteria).  Attendance attracts 8 RCNA Continuing Nurse Education points per full day, as part of RCNA’s Life Long Learning Program (3LP).

Certificates will be available to collect at the end of the Conference (or Day 1 if you have only registered for one day).

9)  I can’t come anymore – can I transfer my ticket or get a refund?

Registration cancellations must be made in writing by email to the conference managers.  Cancellations received in writing on or before June 1st 2012 will be subjected to a refund, less 25%.

No registration refunds will made after June 1st 2012 for any reason.

You may transfer your registration to another person from your organisation.  Details of the transfer must be notified by email to the conference managers no later that June 8th 2012.
